Congratulations to Carly Carter and Christine Cho for their excellent play in the Rocky Mountain Junior Golf Tour Tournament at Banbury Golf Club last weekend.
Carly posted a first day round of 72, and Christine shot level par 71. It was an epic battle on day two. Carly started her round off by holing a 90 yard gap wedge for an Eagle 2 on the very first hole. She faced some adversity later in her round with a four putt that resulted in a double bogey.
Christine played steady until late in her round with a three putt and not getting up and down cost her a couple bogeys.
Congratulations to both of you for your outstanding play!
It was fun to watch these two girls and how much they have improved the past year. They look like young LPGA tour players on the course. As high school freshmen they already have several colleges watching them closely. It will be a very lucky coach who gets these girls on their team!
