Long time student Maribel Lopez shoots 67 in 2nd round of NCAA D1 National Championship

My long time Student Maribel Lopez who plays for Tulane shot an amazing 67 yesterday in the 2nd round of the NCAA Division 1 National Championship.  After another solid 72 in the 3rd round today, Maribel stands T11 on the individual leaderboard.  Maribel is a senior at Tulane and just graduated.  She had her struggles as a freshman; however, her always positive attitude and self-belief really helped her through that time.  Maribel has had great success at Tulane both academically and as an athlete.  This can be attributed to her great attitude and her great perspective on the game of golf.  She understands that golf is only a game, and she has always been able to create, maintain, and nurture a positive attitude.

Maribel is a great person, and she will be successful at any endeavor she chooses to pursue.  Congratulations Maribel!!!

Great Work Carson Barry!!

I am working with a fine young junior, 12 year old Carson Barry, who has an under 5 handicap.  Carson is improving quickly, because he has some real passion for the game and really enjoys the learning process.  He understands that the key to golf is to create, maintain, and nurture a positive attitude!!!  This is impact after just a few coaching sessions. He is now compressing the ball from a better path, and his ball speed has increased.  Great change Carson!!!!

He is also working with Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Certified Golf Fitness Specialist and Physical Therapist Rob Barnes of Therapeutic Associates.  Correcting imbalances in the body and getting stronger in the proper areas is the first and most important step to creating a bio- mechanically sound, athletic golf swing.  His father Brett is a very fine player also.  These two will soon be contending in the State Four Ball Championship!!!
