Going into the final round, Madeleine was one shot inside the number needed to qualify for Stage III, the final stage of LPGA Q School. She faced the adversity and shot 1 under par 71 which qualified her for stage 3.
Madeleine’s goal for the week was “acceptance.” She had a great game plan. She planned her shot, executed it, accepted it, and moved on to the next shot. Being able to accept your shots, good and bad, will really help maintain a positive attitude – the most important attribute to playing your best golf. Madeleine is starting to understand that it’s not really about the destination of getting on the LPGA; it’s more about the journey and learning to really enjoy and embrace the journey!!
